Magenta è un importante centro abitato dell’area occidentale della provincia di Milano. L’area è caratterizzata dalla presenza di numerosi centri abitati e del Parco Lombardo della Valle del Ticino. La stazione è situata sulla linea ferroviaria Milano-Novara-Torino.

Magenta è una delle stazioni della linea S6 del passante ferroviario Treviglio-Milano-Novara.
L’area di interesse è un’area di 6000 mq ca. comprensivi dello scalo ferroviario attualmente non utilizzato e del piazzale di stazione, già oggetto di Convenzione con il Comune risalente al 1929 e attrezzato a sosta breve.

Urbanisticamente l’area è destinata a servizi e attrezzature pubbliche. La stazione si trova a poca distanza dal centro urbano.

Magenta is an important town in the western area of the province of Milan. The area is characterized by the presence of numerous towns and the Lombard Ticino Valley Park. The station is located on the Milan-Novara-Turin railway line.

Magenta is one of the stations on the S6 line of the Treviglio-Milan-Novara rail link.

The area of interest is an area of about 6,000 sq. m. including the currently unused railway yard and the station forecourt, formerly the subject of an agreement with the municipality dating back to 1929 and equipped for short stay.

Urbanistically, the area is designated for public services and facilities. The station is located a short distance from the urban center.
