Il Compendio FIa007 costituisce il complesso dell'ex Stazione Ferroviaria di Livorno San Marco, una delle più antiche stazioni ferroviarie d'Italia, ed è composto da vari fabbricati distribuiti per una superficie catastale complessiva, tra coperto e scoperto, di circa 68.000 mq. Di forma pressoché triangolare, il compendio si incunea nella periferia nord della città, separando due differenti zone funzionali della città: a nord-ovest quella residenziale e a sud-est quella industriale e portuale.
Il complesso immobiliare è composto da vari fabbricati con due edifici principali e, per la maggior parte, da area scoperta sulla quale insistono i binari dell’ex scalo merci. Il fabbricato più rappresentativo è l’ex fabbricato Viaggiatori dalla caratteristica forma a "U", un corpo di fabbrica che si snoda su tre lati attorno ai binari d'arrivo e che si sviluppa su due livelli fuori terra.

The FIa007 complex comprises the former Livorno San Marco Railway Station, one of the oldest railway stations in Italy. It consists of several buildings distributed over a total cadastral area —both covered and uncovered—of approximately 68,000 sqm. Roughly triangular in shape, the complex wedges into the northern outskirts of the city, effectively separating two distinct functional areas: the residential zone to the north-west and the industrial and port area to the south-east.
The property complex is made up of multiple buildings, including two main structures, and is largely composed of open land on which the tracks of the former freight yard are still present. The most representative building is the former passenger station building, notable for its characteristic U-shaped layout—a structure that extends along three sides around the arrival tracks and rises over two storeys above ground level.
